Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

The environmental impact of the building design, construction and operations industry is enormous. Green Building practices can substantially reduce or eliminate negative environmental impacts through high-performance, market leading design, construction and operations practices. As an added benefit, green operations and management reduce operating costs, enhance building marketability, increase worker's productivity and reduce potential liability resulting from indoor air quality problems.

LEED facilities require achievement of an energy usage below the recognized standards. Alderson & Associates is able to model with computer simulation the energy features of a building to determine the most efficient and cost-effective systems.

Alderson's Qualifications in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) include:

  • LEED AP Building Design and Construction (BD+C) and Green Associate certifications
  • Silver Ventures Office - LEED Silver certified
  • IMCOM Headquarters, Ft. Sam Houston - Seeking LEED Gold certification
  • YMCA Walzem - Seeking LEED Silver certification
  • Eco-Charrette Facilitation Services
  • Rebate Considerations/Tax Credits - Applications
  • Commissioning Prerequisite and Enhanced Commissioning Credit Services
