On April, 10 2018, Alderson & Associates, Inc. held a public meeting to gain input from stakeholders on downtown lighting. District 1 Councilman Roberto Trevino made an appearance and spoke with the stakeholders. The meeting was coordinated and input will be analyzed by Ximenes & Associates, Inc. Randy Burkett, FIALD, FIES, LC of Randy Burkett Lighting Design presented information on what is included in a master plan and how different locations could require different types of lighting.
The desired outcomes for the meeting were for participants to:
• Be informed of the Downtown Master Lighting Plan and its objectives.
• Provide comments that can help inform the development of the master plan.
• Be enthusiastic about the possible effects of the Downtown Master Lighting Plan.
• Be interested in coming to subsequent meetings.
